DeWys Manufacturing is looking for a Design Engineering Intern to join our team. This role provides practical exposure to real-world engineering challenges within a contract manufacturing environment, focusing on the design and improvement of sheet metal products and processes.
What You'll Do
- Assist engineers with product design and manufacturability reviews
- Support CAD modeling and drawing updates
- Participate in design reviews and engineering problem solving
- Assist with prototype development and testing
- Collaborate with production teams to understand manufacturing processes
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in manufacturing and product development
Nice to Have
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
