WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is hiring a Design Draftsman to support gas pipeline projects. In this role, you will create inspection packets, produce design drawings, and assist engineering technicians.
What You'll Do
- Assist current engineering Technicians.
- Create inspection packets, review checklists, and assemble folders for the inspection team.
- Learn SAP to create VCU's for transmission, storage, gathering, and distribution projects.
- Record research using field notes, property records, scanned documents, and the GIS system SAMS.
- Create electronic requests to vendors for Basemaps and pipeline design.
- Submit online requests for Environmental and Land.
- Produce and update design drawings for gas pipeline projects.
- Research and provide company records to help produce project folders.
What We're Looking For
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
- AutoCAD drafting and design experience.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Tools, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of Gas, Utility, or Construction industries.
