Express Flooring is hiring a Design Consultant for a direct sales role focused on in-home flooring consultations. You will meet with homeowners, present product solutions, and close sales during a single visit, all within a commission-based structure.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations, take measurements, and present solutions that can close the sale in one visit.
- Guide clients through provided flooring samples to help them make confident decisions.
- Present flexible financing options to simplify purchasing and finalize agreements.
- Hit sales targets by closing during the consultation while collaborating with the Express Flooring team to deliver an exceptional experience.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in in-home or outside sales.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage your schedule and goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 lbs and perform tasks such as climbing stairs.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
