VitalCheck is looking for a Dermatology Screening Clinician to deliver essential preventive care through our workplace wellness program. In this role, you will provide on-site skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations for employees at scheduled clinic events in Springfield, IL, focusing on early detection and patient education.
What You'll Do
- Set up and prepare the mobile clinic space within corporate environments to support employee wellness initiatives.
- Perform skin checks and skin cancer screenings, consult with patients to evaluate dermatological concerns, and provide appropriate patient education.
- Document patient encounters and screening results in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Provide recommendations for follow-up care and refer patients to dermatology specialists when appropriate.
- Deliver patient care independently while maintaining a professional and efficient clinic workflow.
What We're Looking For
- Active, clean Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license to practice in Illinois.
- Board-certified MD or DO with an active, clean license to practice in Illinois.
- Active BLS/ACLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on clinical work experience.
- Strong dermatology knowledge and hands-on clinical dermatology experience.
- For NP/PA: A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
- Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Patient education driven.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Springfield, IL.
