About the Role
This role provides leadership in managing complex water and wastewater programs, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and technical excellence. The individual will support strategic planning, team coordination, and client engagement across multiple infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of water and wastewater capital improvement projects from planning through completion
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders on program-related matters
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Support risk assessment and mitigation planning across program components
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and engineering standards
- Assist in developing scopes, budgets, and resource plans for new projects
- Lead coordination between design, construction, and operations teams
- Facilitate technical reviews and design validation processes
- Promote the use of sustainable and resilient infrastructure practices
- Manage change orders and contract administration tasks
- Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and clients
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
- Support business development through proposal contributions and client meetings
- Integrate digital tools and data systems into project workflows
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental protocols are followed
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies during permitting and review phases
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary design teams
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methods
- Maintain accurate program documentation and records
- Support post-construction evaluations and handover processes
- Foster collaboration across geographic offices and functional groups
- Address client feedback and ensure satisfaction throughout project lifecycle
- Evaluate contractor performance and subcontractor deliverables
- Contribute to organizational knowledge sharing and best practices
