About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing deployment processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring technical accuracy and consistency during implementation phases.
Responsibilities
- Lead deployment activities for software releases across multiple client environments
- Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and client teams to ensure smooth rollouts
- Develop and maintain deployment plans and schedules
- Monitor deployment progress and report on status to stakeholders
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during implementation phases
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards during deployments
- Manage deployment documentation and runbooks
- Facilitate pre-deployment readiness checks and risk assessments
- Work closely with technical teams to resolve configuration conflicts
- Support post-deployment validation and handover processes
- Maintain version control and deployment tracking systems
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams in a timely manner
- Ensure rollback procedures are in place and tested
- Drive continuous improvement in deployment practices
- Train team members on deployment protocols and tools
- Collaborate with project managers to align deployment timelines
- Manage environment-specific configurations
- Verify data integrity after deployment
- Support disaster recovery and high availability deployments
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical releases
