Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine teeth cleanings and evaluate oral health conditions
- Guide patients in effective home care routines and preventive strategies
- Support dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Capture dental images, including X-rays, as needed
- Keep detailed, up-to-date patient records in compliance with health standards
- Follow strict sterilization and safety protocols in all clinical settings
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- Current license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Florida
- Certification in local anesthesia administration
- CPR and First Aid training, if required by state regulation
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a patient-focused approach
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation
