What You'll Do
Take ownership of the software delivery lifecycle for enterprise-grade systems in Africa or the Middle East. You will oversee deployment, configuration, and operational validation, ensuring all technical components are delivered on time and meet defined quality standards. Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to refine deployment workflows and resolve technical roadblocks efficiently.
Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures and track progress to support accurate reporting to project leadership. Partner with Project Managers on scope, risk, and change control, while leading technical gate reviews for solution validation, factory testing, and site readiness. Support tendering activities by assessing delivery models and validating scope with design teams.
Ensure seamless handover to maintenance teams through structured knowledge transfer. Contribute to quality management by adhering to and improving processes, and promptly address any non-conformances. Champion safety by promoting EHS best practices, conducting routine observations, and reinforcing mandatory training compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery performance using measurable indicators
- Collaborate across functions including Solution Design, Maintenance, and Global Workforce teams
- Support competitiveness initiatives focused on cost, lead time, and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years with high school diploma)
- At least 3 years in software commissioning within a services environment
- Familiarity with WAMS or related systems such as SCADA, PMU, or EMS
- Proven experience in project or delivery management
- Fluency in English with strong communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive background in software delivery operations across multiple sites
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture
- Understanding of computer system integration and enterprise IT infrastructure
- Skilled in remote team coordination and change leadership
- Process-driven mindset with experience in formal methodologies
