Zurich Canada is looking for a Delegated Portfolio Underwriter to manage an existing portfolio and build strong relationships with Delegated Partners. This is a market-facing role that plays a vital part in shaping the ongoing success and future growth of our business.
What You'll Do
- Manage and monitor the performance, profitability, and governance of your delegated portfolio, taking proactive action where needed.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with Delegated Partners and brokers through regular engagement and performance reviews.
- Apply sound underwriting judgement across delegated Property and Casualty business, ensuring decisions align with Zurich standards.
- Identify, assess, and help onboard new delegated opportunities that support our growth ambitions.
- Work closely with colleagues across underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Risk Engineering, Governance and Compliance to drive consistent portfolio outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Delegated Authority or portfolio management.
- Underwriting experience across Property and Casualty lines.
- A strong communicator who is confident making decisions.
- Excellent organisational skills with the customer at the heart of every decision.
