Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp is looking for a Decomber/Stacker for our 2nd shift. This role involves heavy lifting and processing bacon bellies in a cold environment, focusing on efficient de-combing, stacking, and material organization.
What You'll Do
- Efficiently de-comb and stack bellies, supplied with proper sized bacon.
- Organize and clean coolers as necessary.
- Provide appropriate scaling, record keeping, and inventory rotation.
- Push out trees of bacon according to average and lot number to designated Bacon Roller.
- Remove belly from tree and aside to table.
- Remove combs from bellies and aside combs neatly onto rod of comb truck.
- Position empty flats, stack bellies in prescribed rows, and aside flats.
- Aside empty trees to smokehouse alley.
- Clean coolers and trim bellies as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
