About the Role
The Database Performance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving database system performance. This role involves deep troubleshooting, query optimization, and close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure data systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Monitor database performance across production environments
- Identify and resolve slow query execution issues
- Tune database configurations for optimal throughput

- Work with monitoring tools to detect anomalies
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents
- Assist in database migration projects

- Review and refine backup and recovery processes
