NeuraFlash, Part of Accenture, is looking for a Database Developer to build, implement, and support our Microsoft solutions. You will grow to be the go-to person for advanced application development tasks involving front end, mid-tier, and backend development, SQL Server, web apps, function apps, and other Microsoft capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Architect and develop solutions using SSIS, SQL Server, stored procedures, and APIs.
- Gather requirements and research to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address user needs.
- Field requests from stakeholders, clarify requirements, and respond with data that meets end-user needs.
- Perform advanced data analytics to make recommendations on improvements.
- Assist in documenting current processes and developing documentation for new processes.
- Utilize Power BI or other BI Platform technologies to creatively display complex data for a wide audience.
- Migrate data and create pipelines to move data from databases or file systems to the data warehouse.
- Check code into Github and deploy builds locally for testing, with an understanding of branching.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, usability, and functionality requirements of the BI platform.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including solution design, development, code review, source code control, testing, and deployment.
- Design and develop reports and ETL processes to and from the Data Warehouse using SQL Stored Procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical, logic, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in all stages of development project work: gathering requirements, logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Strong T-SQL skills and sound Reporting development experience; can substitute hands-on experience with Data Visualization tools like SSRS, PowerPivot, and Power BI.
- Attention to detail and accountability to meet critical deadlines.
- Flexibility in schedule depending on business need; while night and weekend work is generally not required, critical deliverables must go out on time.
