Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Data/AI Policy and Governance Analyst

Parsons Transportation Group is looking for a Data/AI Policy and Governance Analyst to be a key part of our Federal Solutions team. You will enhance, document, and implement data management processes, policy, and governance to support a critical US military mission involving data analytics and AI.

What You'll Do

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders to integrate policy considerations into project planning and execution
• Update and maintain policy, governance, and legal documentation such as manuals and directives
• Lead the development and implementation of data and AI standards and procedures aligned with DoD requirements and industry best practices
• Explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Educate, mentor, and provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of policy, governance, and legal requirements
• Intuitively solve complex problems, work independently, and execute with minimal guidance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; will consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data or AI-related topics
• A strong data analytics or computer science background, with experience in big-data and AI/ML concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Active DoD Secret-level security clearance

Nice to Have

• Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities
• Prior experience supporting a large team or Branch-level office
