About the Role

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to extract valuable insights from data, enhancing decision-making processes across the organization. Your primary focus will be on leveraging PowerBI for visualizing insights and translating complex data into intuitive visualizations, while also playing a key role in data engineering and transformation.

What You'll Do

  • Develop compelling and insightful visualizations using PowerBI to communicate complex data trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners (Clinical Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Strategy & Integration) and external stakeholders to understand data needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by utilizing automation and optimizing workflows.
  • Take a proactive role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of datasets in partnership with the data engineering team.
  • Partner closely with other functions within the Data & Analytics organization to integrate data sources, share expertise, and generate comprehensive insights.
  • Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, providing training and support as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics.
  • Support the development and implementation of labor and productivity management.
  • Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of 3rd party benchmarking tools and lead the coordination of related data submissions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and SQL.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Master's or Doctorate (PhD) in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance, payroll, labor productivity, and/or HR analytics.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team made up of Clinical Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Strategy/Integration experts.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $82,160.00 - $123,240.00
  • PTO available day 1 for eligible hires.
