The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to extract valuable insights from data, enhancing decision-making processes across the organization. Your primary focus will be on leveraging PowerBI for visualizing insights and translating complex data into intuitive visualizations, while also playing a key role in data engineering and transformation.
What You'll Do
- Develop compelling and insightful visualizations using PowerBI to communicate complex data trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate closely with internal partners (Clinical Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Strategy & Integration) and external stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by utilizing automation and optimizing workflows.
- Take a proactive role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of datasets in partnership with the data engineering team.
- Partner closely with other functions within the Data & Analytics organization to integrate data sources, share expertise, and generate comprehensive insights.
- Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, providing training and support as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics.
- Support the development and implementation of labor and productivity management.
- Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of 3rd party benchmarking tools and lead the coordination of related data submissions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Knowledge of PowerBI and SQL.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Master's or Doctorate (PhD) in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of healthcare finance, payroll, labor productivity, and/or HR analytics.

- Compensation range: $82,160.00 - $123,240.00
