Societe Generale is hiring a Data Usage Analyst to coordinate and manage data usage requests within our organization. You will act as a facilitator between business teams and experts, ensuring all data activities meet internal governance standards and regulatory obligations.
What You'll Do
- Orchestrate the end‑to‑end processing of data usage requests raised by your Business or Service Unit.
- Support requesters in framing their needs and defining feasibility conditions.
- Lead discussions and ensure smooth communication between requesters and experts in legal, compliance, and security.
- Ensure each request meets all implementation criteria and prepare the final validated terms of use.
- Collaborate with other Data Usage Analysts on cross‑entity or multi‑unit requests.
- Act as the link between your unit and the Group’s data usage governance framework.
- Contribute to the periodic inventory of data use cases prepared at Group level.
- Escalate blocked or sensitive requests requiring arbitration.
- Apply the methodological framework defined by GDO, including governance principles, deliverable tracking, budget monitoring, and architectural guidelines.
- Perform regular monitoring and reporting based on established KPIs and SLAs.
- Contribute to defining and implementing relevant data usage indicators.
- Support continuous improvement efforts for data usage processes, collaboration models, and documentation.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in legal, compliance, audit, or similar fields.
- Knowledge or understanding of risk management, IT security, and IT solutions.
- Strong expertise in project coordination, with familiarity in change management.
- Very good command of French and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking, compliance, or risk analysis is an advantage.
