IPRO is hiring a Data Scientist

IPRO is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our dedicated health care quality improvement team. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics—including program evaluation, predictive modeling, and AI/ML techniques—to enhance healthcare outcomes and support stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Understand program needs and business goals to align analytic approaches.
• Design analytics reports, dashboards, and models.
• Apply data validation strategies to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
• Conduct analysis and build models using multivariate and advanced techniques.
• Troubleshoot data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Produce deliverables on or ahead of schedule.
• Write reports with charts and graphs to summarize findings and recommendations.
• Communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We're Looking For

• Master’s degree in statistics, math, computer science, economics, data science, or a related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience in data science or data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in two or more statistical analysis/data management tools (e.g., Python, SQL, SAS).
• Proficiency in two or more visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, MS Excel, Power BI).
• Proficiency in two or more presentation tools (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in relational database concepts and query tools (e.g., SQL).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining precision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience connecting various types of healthcare data (e.g., payer administrative, EMR, social determinants) to answer complex business questions.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working specifically with healthcare metrics and analytics.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00

This is an onsite position, located in Albany, NY or Jericho, NY.
