BMW Group is looking for a Data Scientist who will drive data-driven solutions aligned with our organizational goals. You will perform advanced big data analyses, build predictive models, and develop machine learning algorithms to support our evolution towards a more data-driven, AI-focused, and cloud-native architecture.

What You'll Do

Perform advanced big data analyses.
Build predictive models and develop machine learning algorithms.
Successfully execute and manage Data & Analytics cases.
Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to realize data-driven solutions.
Monitor and continuously improve model performance.
Establish a governance framework to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
Operate effectively within an organization evolving towards data-driven work, AI adoption, and cloud data architecture.

What We're Looking For

A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python, R, Java, Visual Studio Code, AWS SageMaker, or equivalent tools.
Deep knowledge of machine learning libraries, frameworks, data processing, feature engineering, and statistical analysis.
Demonstrable experience setting up and managing data science governance structures.
Strong communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams within a changing organization.
Willingness to grow with the organization towards more data-driven work, AI adoption, and the implementation of cloud data architectures.
Practical experience applying Gen AI technologies.
