Sia is looking for a Consultant Senior Data Scientist R&D specializing in Computer Vision. In this role, you will lead and execute innovative projects covering the entire data value chain, with a strong focus on emerging technologies like GenAI for Computer Vision and Edge AI. You will contribute to strengthening our offerings and fostering our internal R&D community.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver innovative computer vision projects, emphasizing GenAI and Edge AI technologies (e.g., Jetson, Raspberry Pi).
- Develop and enhance our Computer Vision service portfolio, particularly in GenAI and EdgeAI.
- Initiate and animate the internal R&D community through challenges, conferences, and academic talks.
- Manage projects from start to finish with high autonomy.
- Supervise consultants and act as a technical lead on projects.
- Support business development by helping define needs and participating in commercial activities.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university, or a PhD in data, mathematics, or computer science.
- 4+ years of post-Master's professional experience.
- Completion of academic or industrial research work (minimum 6 months).
- Knowledge in information processing, statistical engineering, and econometrics.
- Prior experience deploying solutions on on-prem devices like Jetson and/or Raspberry Pi.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, R, SAS, Matlab, Javascript, bash) and/or compiled languages (C++, Java), and/or experience with UNIX/LINUX environments.
- Advanced data manipulation skills, including querying in Big Data environments (Spark, Advanced SQL, cloud storage).
- Professional fluency in French and English.
Nice to Have
- Specialization in Computer Vision.
- Knowledge of cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure).
- Relevant certifications.
- Knowledge of industrialization techniques (CI/CD).
