BMW Group is offering a Master thesis internship for a student to focus on benchmarking Generative AI systems for in-car human-machine interaction. You will join a dynamic environment where experienced experts treat you as part of the team from day one and encourage you to bring your own ideas.
What You'll Do
- Support developing advanced benchmarking algorithms for evaluating Generative AI systems in the context of in-car human-machine interaction.
- Help to create algorithms and applications with a focus on highly automating human evaluation and testing of in-car interfaces.
- Contribute to applying machine learning techniques, natural language processing and computer vision in an automotive context.
- Assist in testing and validating AI-based systems for human-machine interaction.
What We're Looking For
- Studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational linguistics or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree completed or near completion.
- Very good programming skills in Python 3.
- Practical knowledge of deep learning techniques and frameworks, with focus on natural language processing and computer vision.
- Business-fluent English skills.
Nice to Have
- Substantial experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, Sklearn, Docker, Spacy, OpenCV is desired.
- German proficiency is a plus.
