BMW Group is offering a Master thesis internship for a student to focus on benchmarking Generative AI systems for in-car human-machine interaction. You will join a dynamic environment where experienced experts treat you as part of the team from day one and encourage you to bring your own ideas.

What You'll Do

Support developing advanced benchmarking algorithms for evaluating Generative AI systems in the context of in-car human-machine interaction.
Help to create algorithms and applications with a focus on highly automating human evaluation and testing of in-car interfaces.
Contribute to applying machine learning techniques, natural language processing and computer vision in an automotive context.
Assist in testing and validating AI-based systems for human-machine interaction.

What We're Looking For

Studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational linguistics or a related field.
Bachelor's degree completed or near completion.
Very good programming skills in Python 3.
Practical knowledge of deep learning techniques and frameworks, with focus on natural language processing and computer vision.
Business-fluent English skills.

Nice to Have

Substantial experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, Sklearn, Docker, Spacy, OpenCV is desired.
German proficiency is a plus.
