Seagate is hiring a Data Science & AI Intern to join the Global Operational Intelligence Group. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights for factory operations, developing AI solutions to enhance manufacturing performance.
What You'll Do
- Work with mentors to formulate business and engineering challenges as AI problems, developing anomaly detection and root cause analysis solutions for manufacturing and capacity planning.
- Apply advanced data science techniques like time series foundation models for anomaly detection and causal AI for root cause analysis to model manufacturing behavior.
- Design and implement scalable data and AI systems for large-scale manufacturing datasets using Python and enterprise analytics platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Substantial experience in AI/ML technologies applied to industrial use cases, including projects with tabular data, time series data, and computer vision.
- Proficient in Python for model development with experience in libraries like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, Optuna, DoWhy, PyMC, SciPy, and Google OR-Tools.
