About the Role

Adthena is seeking a Data Product Manager to join our Product team. You will own the data team and Data Science backlog, innovate ideas to improve the performance, accuracy, and cost of our data, and drive the development of our comprehensive data product roadmap. This role is pivotal in translating complex data infrastructure needs into actionable product strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the evolution of the product vision and strategy for Adthena's data platform and services.
  • Shape, plan, and prioritize the data team’s backlog focusing on performance, architecture, and cost of delivery.
  • Drive the development and ownership of a comprehensive data product roadmap.
  • Translate complex data infrastructure, data pipeline, and data science needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for significant data capabilities and platform features.
  • Serve as the expert product owner for the data engineering team, managing the backlog and fostering a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Champion internal customer-centricity, leading research to uncover latent needs from product teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Take full ownership of strategic objectives and a significant data platform area.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of data product initiatives.
  • Drive highly effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Data, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support and Customer Success.
  • Keep up-to-date with market developments in data engineering and data paradigms in the MarTech / AdTech industries.

What We're Looking For

  • You are or have been a data-related product owner, data engineer, senior data analyst or data scientist.
  • Working experience with market research to understand and articulate a market opportunity, competitive analysis, or customer need.
  • Experience building business cases for new products/features supporting product decision-making.
  • Comfortable setting KPIs on product streams and working towards them as success metrics.
  • Up to date with the latest GenAI tools and ways of working.
  • Demonstrable experience of working closely with data engineering or software engineering and architects' teams to deliver a data engineering and/or instrumentation roadmap.
  • Back-end experience with data platforms that manage a high transactional volume of data.
  • Ability to own and deliver a data product roadmap.
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas and requirements to stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of agile ways of working, like Scrum or Kanban, with tools like Jira.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and associated technologies.
  • Experience writing basic Python, APIs, SQL and data analytics.
