Deel is looking for a Data Privacy Compliance Manager to implement and administer data privacy and compliance across the company. You will be integral to our mission of unlocking global opportunity and building the infrastructure for the future of work, ensuring our data practices are robust and compliant.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Deel Compliance Team to execute activities for the implementation, administration, and communication of data privacy and compliance.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the Deel compliance framework for the collection, storage, use, distribution, and disposal of customer and employee data.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in products and services, marketing, business development, and vendor management to ensure effective processes and compliance.
- Apply privacy and regulatory requirements on an operational level, monitor internal controls, oversee risk assessment and mitigation, and direct program training.
- Test and implement Privacy by Design and Default requirements into Deel products.
- Investigate and respond to data privacy inquiries and incidents.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team setting.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- A keen interest in privacy laws and regulations.
- Interest in Privacy by Design and Default; technical knowledge is very advantageous.
