Responsibilities
- Oversee full lifecycle delivery of multiple data engineering and analytics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Enforce operational discipline through utilization tracking, staffing alignment, margin oversight, and regular engagement reviews
- Establish and maintain delivery standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistent and scalable project execution
- Act as primary escalation contact for active projects, resolving technical challenges, scope deviations, and client issues alongside delivery leads
- Collaborate with leadership to convert strategic goals into actionable quarterly objectives and team-level OKRs
- Directly manage and grow a team of data engineers, architects, and analytics specialists across the practice
- Define performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and deliver continuous coaching to cultivate a high-achieving team
- Work with recruiting and workforce planning to identify skill gaps, guide hiring, and integrate new hires effectively
- Promote a culture of accountability, technical mastery, and ongoing development within a globally distributed team
- Identify and nurture future leaders, aligning career development with organizational needs
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders at senior levels
- Support sales and go-to-market efforts by contributing to scoping, proposals, and technical solution design for new and existing clients
- Uncover expansion opportunities within current engagements by identifying new use cases and relevant service offerings
- Represent the organization professionally in client discussions at director and VP levels
- Partner with leadership on market positioning, service development, and internal capability enhancement
- Develop thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and speaking engagements to strengthen external visibility
- Stay informed on advancements in the modern data landscape and guide the team in integrating relevant innovations
- Contribute to the creation of practice-owned intellectual property such as accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable components
