As a Data Operations Analyst, you’ll translate complex retail and brand categorization needs into accurate, scalable data mappings. Your work ensures clients receive structured, actionable insights tailored to their operational goals.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with corporate clients to understand their unique product classification systems and data requirements.
- Apply manual tagging and machine learning tools to map products accurately to customer-specific categories.
- Use Python, Pyspark, and SQL to analyze, clean, and structure data, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and client-facing teams to deliver timely, high-quality outputs.
- Continuously refine data processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Exercise sound judgment when interpreting ambiguous category rules or incomplete data inputs.
- Monitor project timelines and take ownership of deliverables from start to completion.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience using Python, Pyspark, or SQL in a data-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with data tagging, categorization, or machine learning systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply complex business rules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team and client interactions.
- Reliable attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
- Familiarity with RegEx, data management platforms, or product attribution tools is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position based in India, with flexible scheduling outside of required US meeting hours. During onboarding, several hours of overlap with US time zones are expected. After training, you’ll coordinate availability with managers and team members to ensure smooth collaboration.
