About the Role
This role is responsible for managing data standards, governance, and system integration across global manufacturing and supply functions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead data governance initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain systems
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to define data standards
- Support regulatory compliance through accurate data documentation
- Drive data quality improvements across global processes
- Manage data lifecycle from creation to archival
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies in supply systems
- Facilitate data integration between internal and external systems
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata
- Support validation of data in regulated environments
- Work with cross-functional teams to align data practices
- Monitor data performance metrics and report on findings
- Implement data controls to meet audit requirements
- Advocate for data best practices across departments
- Lead data-related change management activities
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies
- Provide expertise during system upgrades and implementations
- Coordinate with external partners on data exchange protocols
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry data standards
- Support root cause analysis for data-related issues
- Train teams on data management procedures
- Document data flows and system interfaces
- Promote reuse of standardized data elements
- Assist in data risk assessments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes
