Meritis is looking for a Data Engineer to join a key strategic data project for a major banking client in Montpellier. In this role, you will contribute within a structured banking environment, focusing on building robust data infrastructure and analytics.
What You'll Do
- Manipulate data using Spark SQL, Python/Scala, and pandas
- Process structured and semi-structured data formats like JSON and Parquet
- Design performant ETL/ELT pipelines
- Use Delta Lake for reliable and versioned data management
- Train and deploy ML models in Databricks
- Monitor experiments via MLflow
- Work collaboratively using cloud notebooks
- Connect data to BI tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Manage access, roles, and resources in a secure environment
