About the Role

Job Title: Digital Content Classification Specialist (English and French) Location: Fully Remote within Canada (excluding Quebec) Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) We are searching for a meticulous and analytically-minded Digital Content Classification Professional to assist in evaluating and tagging various digital assets for an enterprise client. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and communication capabilities, enabling them to comprehend complex procedural guidelines and articulate insights effectively. Prior experience in data labeling is advantageous but not mandatory. Required Competencies: - Precision in Identification – Consistently recognize and categorize nuanced patterns - Technical Proficiency – Comfortable navigating annotation platforms and understanding diverse data formats - Systematic Approach – Apply classification protocols uniformly across extensive datasets - Analytical Problem-solving – Resolve ambiguous scenarios using established annotation frameworks - Clear Communication – Report complex scenarios to project leadership or technical teams - Efficient Workflow Management – Meet productivity benchmarks without compromising output quality - Academic Credentials: Bachelor's degree or higher in humanities discipline required; advanced degrees (Master's/PhD) strongly preferred Supplementary Qualifications: - Annotation Tool Expertise – Familiarity with platforms like Labelbox, CVAT, Prodigy, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth - Machine Learning Understanding – Fundamental knowledge of annotation's impact on model development - Quality Assurance Background – Skill in reviewing and validating collaborative annotation efforts - Adaptive Methodology – Flexibility with evolving procedural guidelines - Collaborative Technology Proficiency – Experience with project management platforms - Proactive Problem-solving Orientation Compensation varies based on multiple factors including role complexity, skill set, educational background, and geographical considerations.
