The Hartford is looking for a Data and Analytics Intern for a 10-12 month internship designed for a master's degree student. You will gain practical, hands-on experience in data analysis and business intelligence, contributing to various projects that drive strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and processing data from various sources to ensure quality and integrity.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Excel to visualize data and communicate findings.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions to provide actionable insights into key performance indicators.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Data and Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Excel for data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in the insurance industry and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python and SQL is helpful but not necessary.
