Responsibilities
- Help design, build, and implement reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools like SAP Business Objects or comparable systems.
- Partner with data engineering teams to enable reporting through dimensional data models, including fact and dimension tables structured as star or snowflake schemas.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries in Oracle and Databricks environments to retrieve and prepare data for reporting purposes.
- Engage with business analysts and stakeholders to collect requirements, interpret business objectives into technical specifications, and assist in delivering reporting solutions.
- Support performance monitoring and optimization of reports and underlying queries to maintain system reliability and usability.
- Gain hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, EMR, Redshift, and Glue to support cloud-based reporting infrastructure.
- Contribute to the management of reporting deliverables, including documentation, version tracking, scheduled data updates, and ongoing maintenance and improvements.
