Kraken is hiring a Data Analyst, Product to become a trusted advisor who uncovers trends and drives actions for our product teams. In this role, you will elevate decision-making by building datasets, designing dashboards, and shaping the experimentation infrastructure that fuels our business growth. You’ll join a fully remote, mission-focused company accelerating global crypto adoption.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted business advisor who influences decision-making for the growth team.
- Own the design of dashboards, metrics, and reports to turn data into actionable insights.
- Dive into large, complex datasets to build scalable data models for reporting, analytics, and ML.
- Lead cross-functional projects to build data pipelines using Airflow, Python, and modern ETL frameworks.
- Develop and automate reporting of key performance indicators for Kraken’s products at scale.
- Develop high-quality code for pipelines and dashboards, incorporating software engineering best practices.
- Deliver insights that shape growth direction through clear, data-driven storytelling.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of data analysis and management experience within the financial services industry, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Hands-on experience using dbt (data build tool) to model marketing, product, or performance data.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and plotly.
- Experience setting up and managing data pipelines, with a strong understanding of data workflow orchestration.
- Capable of creating intuitive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex insights clearly.
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex data ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passionate about investing or day trading—whether in equities or crypto—with professional or personal exposure to trading products.
- Believe wholeheartedly in the values outlined in Kraken’s Tentaclements document.
- A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor, such as software engineering, economics, or a hard science.
