Remote Recruitment is hiring a Data Analyst / Data Engineer for a multinational financial services team focused on Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB). In this role, you will shape and enforce robust data solutions for banking operations, preparing to relocate from South Africa to Málaga.
What You'll Do
- Design data models, processes, and quality control frameworks
- Define and enforce data governance and validation rules
- Assess and approve functional designs for project deployment
- Collaborate with cross-border tech and business teams
- Deliver insights through structured SQL queries and architecture design
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in IT and data-centric environments
- Strong command of SQL and data architecture principles
- Experience in CIB, including FX, global banking, and trade processes
- Exposure to data governance tools and frameworks
- Technical degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field
- High-level English fluency
- Laptop and reliable internet access

Benefits & Compensation
- 3 years Experience - R4500 per day
- 4-5 years Experience - R5700 to R6800 per day
- 6+ years Experience - R7000 + per day
Work Mode
This is a hybrid role. Work will be remote from South Africa initially, with a planned relocation to Málaga, Spain.
