P2P.org is hiring a Data Analyst to join our mission of building a fairer financial system. In this role, you will explore blockchain ecosystems to identify opportunities and risks, optimize validation economics, and design data solutions that empower our team and community.
What You'll Do
- Explore blockchain ecosystems to detect possible opportunities and risks.
- Optimize the economy for the validation process through research, modelling, and improving business processes.
- Design and develop end-to-end data solutions, from initial analysis and model development to deployment, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Provide informative dashboards to the team, company, and community.
- Configure data platform instruments to load, process, and transform data.
- Formulate data requirements for the data engineering team, deciding on granularity, frequency, and data quality.
- Govern your team's data marts and provide data lineage from sources to reporting.
- Provide ad-hoc support to your team.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced SQL skills, including different joins and window expressions. We use Google BigQuery.
- Proficiency with the analytical Python stack.
- Familiarity with ETL instruments such as Airflow and DBT.
- Strong data research skills, knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics, and ability to work with models like regressions and A/B tests.
- Data storytelling skills: the ability to form an opinion and prove it with data beyond reasonable doubt.
- Effective work with data consumers, owning a task, decomposing it, and passing it on after completion.
- English proficiency at a B2+ level.
