National General (Allstate) is seeking a Data Analyst to support our Analytics and Data Science teams. In this role, you will develop clean, reliable data pipelines and deliver actionable insights to drive informed business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Clean, transform, and validate data for analysis and reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support business needs
- Manage and orchestrate data flows across systems and platforms
- Perform ad hoc analysis and data segmentation to support dynamic business questions
- Present insights clearly to stakeholders and support data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data solutions
- Contribute to the development of enterprise data assets and analytics platforms
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI for dashboard and report development
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Microsoft Fabric
- Solid understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data environments
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

- Prior insurance experience
- Prior claims handling experience
- Experience presenting to stakeholders or running conversations around business results
