Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher company, seeks a DBSO Director – Innovation Strategy to drive innovation growth. You will coach leaders to apply Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, foster an inclusive culture, and directly guide strategic initiatives aligned with key performance indicators.
What You’ll Do
- Coach leaders to apply DBS tools and foster an inclusive culture to drive innovation growth.
- Own and execute collaboration agreements with Operating Companies to implement and sustain DBS principles.
- Guide strategic innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with KPIs like IFV/IPV, project OTD, and Revenue Achievement.
- Lead through influence across all organizational levels, from senior leaders to practitioners.
- Balance coaching associates with differing strengths in discovery and delivery skills.
- Advocate for innovation by managing specific tools to promote adoption and share best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or technology.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Strategy.
- Current Product/Portfolio leader with a consistent track record of meeting 80%+ Revenue Achievement over the last 3 years.
- Proven track record leading global product portfolios end-to-end, from ideation through lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience defining proprietary segmentation, product portfolio strategies, roadmaps, and value-based pricing.
- Able to navigate from broad problems to specific issues with humility and curiosity in ambiguous situations.
- Self-driven with a continuous improvement and growth mindset.
- 3 years of experience coaching senior leaders using facts/data to identify root causes.
- Repeated success applying Danaher Business System tools: PSP, Daily and Visual Management, Customer Insight (CI), Customer-Centric Product Definition (CPD), Launch Excellence (LEX), and Differentiated and Defensible Value (DDV).
- Willingness to travel internationally 50-70% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Current Advanced Certified Practitioner, or Certified Practitioner in at least 1 Danaher Business System Innovation tool (CI, CPD, or LEX).
- Hands-on experience leading Policy Deployment (PD).
- Comfortable with remote working.
- Skilled at collaborating with teams both remotely and in person to apply best practices and overcome challenges.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Corporate DBS Office, reporting to the Sr. Director of DBSO Innovation.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $180,000-$220,000 USD.
