Welocalize is looking for a Czech Gaming Localization Linguist to join our global team. This is a freelance, remote role focused on delivering high-quality localization for video games.
What You'll Do
- Translate and adapt video game content from English into Czech
- Ensure translations are culturally relevant and resonate with Czech gamers
- Maintain consistency with game terminology, style, and tone
- Review and edit translated content for linguistic accuracy and fluency
What We're Looking For
- Native-level proficiency in Czech
- Expert fluency in English
- Proven experience localizing video games, marketing assets, or similar entertainment content
- Deep understanding of Czech gaming culture and player expectations
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, freelance position. Candidates located worldwide are welcome to apply, with a strong preference for native speakers in the Czech Republic.
