Role Overview
As a Cycling Specialist, you’ll play a key part in shaping the rider experience at a retail location dedicated to cycling enthusiasts. Your primary focus will be building genuine connections with riders, understanding their goals, and guiding them toward products and solutions that elevate their time on the bike. This role blends customer engagement, product knowledge, and store support to create meaningful, lasting impressions.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with riders through thoughtful conversation, active listening, and personalized recommendations
- Support sales by helping customers make informed decisions and celebrating their purchases
- Contribute to a welcoming, organized environment by maintaining visual standards and cleanliness throughout the day
- Stay up to date on product features and brand offerings through training and available resources
- Assist with light lifting, stocking, and store setup as needed
- Uphold a consistent presence with reliable attendance and punctuality
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine enthusiasm for cycling and the values behind the brand
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Prior experience in a bike shop or retail setting is a plus
