Parsons Transportation Group is seeking a Cyber Sensors Training Manager for its Federal Solutions team. In this role, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for advanced cyber sensor systems and AI-enabled tools, primarily supporting USCYBERCOM components and operational units.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, role-based training plans aligned to evolving mission objectives and capability roadmaps.
- Create and update instructional materials (presentations, SOPs, quick reference guides, interactive labs, videos) for operator, analyst, and system administrator roles.
- Maintain a centralized and version-controlled repository of all training content.
- Deliver hands-on, instructor-led, and virtual training sessions for USCYBERCOM components, CPTs, Red/Blue teams, and DCO elements.
- Conduct 'train-the-trainer' engagements to support organic training capacity within operational units.
- Provide direct support to operators during initial fielding and familiarization of new sensor capabilities, including AI-enabled analytic tools.
- Gather operational needs and coordinate with PCTE on best options to provide virtual, CBTs, and effective assisted training environments.
- Train users on AI/ML-assisted sensor analysis platforms, anomaly detection tools, and behavior-based threat detection models.
- Integrate awareness of model limitations, confidence thresholds, and human-in-the-loop decision workflows.
- Contribute to curriculum that contextualizes AI within defensive cyber operations.
- Support the planning and execution of training injects and real-world simulations during joint cyber exercises (e.g., Cyber Flag, Cyber Shield, DCO-Ds).
- Integrate sensor tools, data collection workflows, and analytics pipelines into blue team exercise lanes and scenario-based events.
- Capture and integrate exercise feedback into future training and capability development plans.
- Align training efforts with broader strategic goals of USCYBERCOM Sensors Program and J9 Innovation initiatives.
- Interface with Program Managers, Solution Architects, and Capability Developers to track emerging releases and required skillsets.
- Contribute to strategic workforce development roadmaps and readiness reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience) with 12 years experience or Masters and 10 years experience.
- 5+ years in technical training, cyber operations, or systems engineering with a focus on cybersecurity tools or sensor platforms.
- Experience developing and delivering training for DoD, IC, or other government stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cyber sensor systems, including packet capture, endpoint telemetry, and deployable kits.
- Hands-on experience with training platforms (LMS), collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence), and virtualization/container technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in cyber operations, including model training concepts, automation pipelines, or threat classification.
- Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, DCDC or CPT operations.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, agile delivery models (SAFe), and continuous fielding concepts.
- Certification in Security+, CISSP, CEH, or relevant DoD 8140 training standards.
- Exercise planning or white cell experience (Cyber Flag, JCTD, service-level events).
