DME seeks a Cyber Security Engineer – PAM to join Hillenbrand’s global Cybersecurity team. You will own the implementation and management of our BeyondTrust PAM platform, ensuring robust privilege account management and controls.
What You'll Do
- Drive the design and implementation of BeyondTrust PAM and vendor portal solutions to meet security and business requirements.
- Create privileged inventory and implement use cases.
- Maintain, tune, and manage the PAM platform, including daily operations, investigations, and rule creation.
- Establish and maintain processes and procedures for PAM platforms.
- Work closely with other IT teams to address vulnerabilities and reduce risk.
- Act as a subject matter expert for BeyondTrust, providing level 2/3 support and consulting on integrations and best practices.
- As the product owner, work with stakeholders and vendors to drive adoption and improve program maturity.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 4+ years of hands-on PAM implementation in complex, global environments.
- A BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. in IT or Computer Science.
- Experience in design, implementation, and administration of the BeyondTrust platform, including building integrations.
- Excellent understanding of privilege access and least privilege controls.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with accountable execution.
- Comfort operating in a high-change environment and dealing with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to Have
- 4+ years of general hands-on IT experience (e.g., Network Engineer, System Admin).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and local administration privilege levels.
- Mastery of Identity, Access, and Privileged Access Management concepts across Authentication, Authorization, and Governance.
- Working knowledge of common information security and technology concepts, risks, and best practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to create clear reports and presentations.
- Proven ability to take ownership of initiatives through to completion.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or vendor credentials.
