This position is situated within the Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS) division, reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Cybersecurity Program. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity product management, leveraging NIST frameworks and CIS controls to develop comprehensive cloud, network, and host security domain operational models. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities are crucial, with mandatory experience collaborating across multidisciplinary security teams. The candidate must demonstrate passionate commitment to driving large-scale transformations within complex, interconnected environments. This role will be responsible for identifying priority initiatives that will guide organizational work for the next three years and beyond. The incumbent will lead product owner teams while maintaining a unified product framework encompassing planning, delivery, metrics, budgetary considerations, and reporting processes related to security initiatives. They will define security portfolio priorities based on information security threats, corporate business objectives, and compliance requirements, providing a cohesive strategy across the entire security services organization. Critical success factors include the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synchronize stakeholder security needs across multiple businesses, global locations, and functional domains. Position Responsibilities: Delivery - Coordinating collaborative efforts across cross-functional teams, multiple business segments, and defensive lines during strategy development - Implementing robust data management and precise reporting mechanisms - Facilitating positive engagement with business, risk, and security teams to ensure comprehensive cloud/network/host security services strategy - Managing effective change communication strategies for high-impact roadmaps, including interactions with various Boards and Regulators Strategy - Collaborating with leadership to understand current and desired future-state security capabilities and operational processes - Supporting optimal decision-making aligned with cybersecurity frameworks - Ensuring strategic alignment across security initiatives and removing redundancies - Contributing to enterprise cybersecurity strategy and target operating model development Leadership - Driving outcomes through influential cross-stakeholder engagement - Modeling organizational change leadership - Embodying core organizational values while establishing the security team's brand Required Qualifications: - 10+ years IT delivery management experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity programs - Proven track record leading complex, multi-dimensional delivery organizations - Strong leadership and team-building capabilities - Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and regulatory requirements - Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Expertise in delivery methodologies and tools - Preferred certifications: PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM - 3-5 years cloud/network/host cybersecurity portfolio risk management experience - Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and innovative problem-solving skills - Ability to balance strategic and tactical perspectives - Highly developed planning and negotiation capabilities - Commitment to team development and result-driven leadership Preferred Qualifications: - Program and cybersecurity certifications Team Benefits: - Career growth opportunities - Flexible, inclusive work environment - Global team support for personal and professional development About Manulife: A leading international financial services provider committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment.
