GitLab was looking for a Customer Support Manager

GitLab is hiring a Customer Support Manager for Runwise, a climate-tech startup. You will act as a trusted advisor to property companies, troubleshooting issues and helping them run heating systems efficiently to reduce energy usage and costs.

What You'll Do

  • Answer live phone calls via our 24/7 support line.
  • Perform real-time troubleshooting of customer reported issues.
  • Conduct remote monitoring and analysis of multifamily and commercial heating systems.
  • Make settings adjustments as needed using our remote interface to reduce fuel consumption and manage tenant comfort.
  • Perform remote quality checks after installations and service calls.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of direct customer management experience ideally in a Service Job, Customer Support, Account Management or Sales role.
  • Excellent social and communication skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with a range of customers from individual business owners to C-level executives.
  • Problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Adaptability to quickly changing situations.
  • Ability to distill technical or complex systems into simpler concepts to empower customers.
  • Willingness to work very hard and at times longer hours during peak season (winter).
  • Passion for real estate and/or energy efficiency.
  • Must have a high-quality internet connection.
  • Must be able to work 11:30AM EST - 8:00PM EST Tuesday - Saturday as part of their regular work schedule.

Nice to Have

  • Candidate in PST or MST timezones.

Work very closely with our co-founder and sales leader.
