Monster Transmission & Performance is looking for a Customer Service Transmission Technician to serve as our technical expert for customers and our client care team. You will use your deep knowledge of automatic transmissions to diagnose issues, support warranty resolutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to customers regarding installation, troubleshooting, and performance of remanufactured transmissions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot common transmission issues over the phone or via email.
- Function as the technical expert for both customers and our client care team.
- Provide tech review to the client care department to help resolve warranty issues and customer inquiries.
- Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues.
- Educate customers on proper maintenance and care to extend product lifespan.
- Identify opportunities to improve products and processes based on customer feedback.
- Assist with warranty claims and ensure customers receive timely resolutions.
- Manage client care phone lines as required.
What We're Looking For
- ASE certification preferred, or equivalent experience as a transmission builder.
- Transmission and engine diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly to customers and team members.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite and comfort entering data into software systems.
- A customer service-oriented mindset with an understanding of customer needs and relationship building.
Nice to Have
- ASE Master Technician certification is highly preferred.
