About the Role

SMI Management, LLC is hiring a Customer Service Representative to provide professional support for a child support program. This work-from-home role involves receiving stakeholder calls, documenting interactions, and resolving inquiries in a supportive team environment.

What You'll Do

  • Receive calls from child support client stakeholders following Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Categorize all calls into provided categories and document customer interactions.
  • Resolve customer complaints by providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.
  • Record any abusive or extraordinary calls.
  • Thoroughly gather customer information, assess needs, and educate customers where applicable.
  • Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of prior experience in customer service, a call center, service delivery, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data entry skills including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Full-time availability from 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
  • A private area to work with space to set up provided equipment and a high-speed internet connection.
  • Must reside in one of these states: AL, FL, GA, KS, MO, NC, OH, TN, TX, WV.
  • Offer is contingent on passing a background check and drug test.
