About the Role

CIBC is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a 6-month term to join our Investor Services Inc (ISI) team. As the first point of contact for Investors Edge and other ISI clients via phone and online channels, you will provide timely resolutions in a fast-paced, non-advice environment focused on service excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for ISI clients via phone and online channels.
  • Recognize and accurately assess each client's needs to provide a timely resolution.
  • Refer clients to related client relations and service groups or escalate to management.
  • Make recommendations on client matters to meet work objectives.
  • Focus on each client experience to make every interaction meaningful.
  • Take accountability for client issues and know when to lean on others to find solutions.
  • Effectively complete client requests with an understanding that their time is valuable.
  • Navigate and focus on multiple software applications and dual monitors.

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to listen, ask questions, and put yourself in the client's shoes.
  • Deep understanding of ISI products and the Investor's Edge platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Online Brokerage systems and products.
  • Ability to easily navigate multiple software applications and dual monitors.
  • Goal oriented and motivated by accomplishing goals.
  • Live company values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location.

Nice to Have

  • Degree/diploma in business.
  • CSC (Canadian Securities Course) is an asset.
