U-Haul is looking for a Customer Service/Lot Attendant to be the face of our service at our Houston center. You will assist customers with our products and services, manage our equipment, and use technology to streamline operations. This position offers valuable on-the-job education through U-Haul University.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers inside and outside the center with U-Haul products and services.
- Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
- Move, hook up, clean, and inspect trucks and trailers, including checking fluid levels.
- Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
- Install hitches and trailer wiring.
- Fill propane (certification provided upon employment).
- Drive a forklift (certification provided upon employment).
- Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
