About the Role

The Cigna Group is looking for a Customer Service Associate Representative to support MDLIVE, a leading telehealth platform. In this remote role, you will be integral to delivering extraordinary customer service by responding to patient questions and building relationships to ensure satisfaction and quality care.

What You'll Do

  • Answer inbound calls and chats from patients, assisting with registrations, consultations, prescription/pharmacy issues, billing concerns, collections, technical support, and navigational assistance.
  • Handle an average of 40 – 50 calls/chats daily, taking calls back-to-back or simultaneous chats while toggling through several applications.
  • Use active listening and a customer-focused approach to meet tailored needs and provide positive outcomes for patient well-being.
  • Attend 100% of training (6 weeks) and be available for the first 90 days of employment.
  • Resolve customer complaints through independent problem-solving skills, resource utilization, and one-call resolution.
  • Strive to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing accurate information with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Work in a highly customer-focused, metrics-driven environment supporting quality of service and compliance with policies & procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and HIPAA regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • A dedicated workspace with no distractions.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathetic and understanding while supporting patients' varying needs.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Nice to Have

  • Call center experience.
