Jobgether is looking for a Customer Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud-native data platforms for enterprise clients. You will work across multiple public cloud environments, building deep expertise in Kubernetes and cloud operations.
What You'll Do
- Monitor, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and predictable operations for customers.
- Build deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud engineering, and cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Collaborate with customers’ data engineers, system administrators, DevOps teams, and management to solve reliability challenges.
- Participate in on-call rotations, maintaining 24x7 coverage and responding to incidents.
- Contribute to side projects, including open-source contributions, internal monitoring systems, and process improvements.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to influence product roadmap and reliability enhancements.
- Participate in remote team events and occasional in-person gatherings to foster collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
- Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized environments.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong Linux proficiency and comfort with system administration tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Motivation to learn new technologies and take ownership of customer-facing issues from start to finish.
