BioMerieux is hiring a Customer Data & IT Professional to play a critical technical role in implementing and supporting our middleware and instrument software across diverse customer environments. This mid-level field position requires solid IT systems experience and a collaborative approach to ensure seamless integration with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and secure connectivity.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate internal and external technical teams to successfully deliver IT implementation projects and solutions for customers.
- Provide technical guidance as a Subject Matter Expert to ensure overall success of service delivery.
- Integrate company solutions with customer Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) by managing communication, consulting technical resources, and performing the scope of work.
- Provide technical assistance via correspondence, phone, and remote tools to diagnose difficult connectivity issues and maintain optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to all field IT service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution within assigned projects.
- Collaborate with customers to identify system-related challenges, research solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by proactively addressing issues to ensure satisfaction and reliability.
- Provide customers with information about available systems, options, and consumables, and coordinate with sales teams to support ordering.
- Obtain and maintain CRM certification to support service investigations and documentation.
- Support revenue growth by promoting value-added projects, products, and services.
- Manage all projects by meeting milestones, deadlines, and requirements while keeping stakeholders informed of progress or changes.
- Create and maintain documentation needed to support product line and product launches, including training materials and procedures.
- Provide training and orientation for new hires in troubleshooting and installation of solutions.
- Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 years of additional relevant experience will be accepted.
- 5+ years of professional related experience.
- Experience in IT as it relates to industrial microbiology or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS interfacing, networking support, servers, software applications, hardware, middleware, computers, and operating systems.
- Experienced in root cause analysis, identifying, and recommending appropriate solutions to resolve point of failure expediently while providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
- End-User support experience is required.

- Experience with systems marketed by bioMerieux is a plus.
