Role Overview
As the DC Change Manager, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of data centre asset records and maintain ideal operating conditions through continuous monitoring and analysis. Reporting to the DC Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in supporting stable, efficient data centre operations across facilities, IT, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the data centre asset inventory current and error-free in both Nlyte and ServiceNow systems
- Track environmental metrics including temperature, humidity, and power usage via the Nlyte platform to uphold optimal conditions
- Examine collected data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and early warning signs affecting performance or reliability
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the Nlyte system to ensure uptime, responsiveness, and data accuracy
- Collaborate with facilities, operations, and IT staff to align on change management and operational workflows
- Produce regular operational reports for leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides for Nlyte system procedures and best practices
- Deliver on-site technical and logistical support as directed by site leadership
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in data centre operations
- Proven expertise with Nlyte and ServiceNow platforms
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft server environments
- Deep understanding of PC and server hardware, networking fundamentals, and data centre power infrastructure
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Technical Environment
Work is performed using Nlyte, ServiceNow, Microsoft server products, PC and server hardware, networking systems, and data centre power management technologies.
Work Arrangement
This is an on-site position requiring presence at the data centre location to support real-time monitoring, coordination, and technical tasks.
