About the Role

Monolithic Power Systems Inc. (MPS) is seeking a Customer Applications Engineer to drive design-in success for our power management products in the memory market. This role focuses on DIMM applications, requiring you to deeply understand customer requirements, provide technical support, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with memory customers to understand market trends, technology, product roadmaps, and production plans.
  • Understand and support customers’ technical questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Plan and execute action items to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as design, quality, package, and failure analysis teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive actions to meet customer requirements and resolve concerns to secure product design-in.

What We're Looking For

  • A BSEE or higher degree.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve design-in success for our products.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in customer communication and support.
  • Previous experience as an application engineer or technical field application engineer.
  • Previous experience working on the storage and memory market.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in switch mode power supply (step-down converters) and PMIC products.
  • Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company.
  • Experience with products from both technical and marketing perspectives.

  • Products below 100W power range

Team & Environment

You will collaborate closely with internal departments such as design, quality, package, and failure analysis teams.

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $200,000
