About the Role

Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term technical vision aligned with business goals
- Oversee architecture and development of core platform services
- Mentor and grow engineering talent across multiple disciplines
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance
- Ensure code quality through best practices and review standards
- Collaborate with product leadership on roadmap planning
- Drive adoption of secure and maintainable coding practices
- Manage deployment pipelines and production reliability
- Lead incident response and system monitoring improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts between engineering and other departments
- Establish engineering metrics and track team performance
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning
- Oversee third-party integrations and API design
- Guide frontend development using React and related frameworks
- Lead backend development with Java and Kotlin services
- Ensure scalability and resilience of distributed systems
- Implement data storage solutions and query optimization
- Support compliance with data privacy and security standards
- Facilitate technical decision-making across teams
- Represent engineering in executive discussions
- Evaluate cloud infrastructure and optimize costs
- Drive automation across testing and deployment workflows
- Maintain documentation standards for systems and processes
- Balance technical debt with feature development
- Foster collaboration between remote team members
